Neither of which I have been on before and I can’t decide which to choose.

The 747 is cool, but KLM’s 747 are old and tired. Book the Air France flight.

The A380 is a significantly better jet than the 744

You could also book Aeromexico’s 788  on LAX- Mexico City and then directly to Heathrow on a 789

ONE EXCEPTION: If you can fly in the upper deck, book with KLM.

Note that production is ending for both the 747 and the A380.

But t here are only half as many Airbus A380s in use compared to the 747.

So go with option 2.

If it is a 747-400 I would say take that because they won’t be around in passenger service much longer, the 747-8 and A380 will still be around for at least another 10-15 years

You’ve already made your decision, so it doesn’t matter, but I will say that my family had a family friend who was a retired VP at Boeing. He would not fly Boeing under any circumstances.

I fly whatever, but that does always influence me if there’s a choice.

Well, LAX to CDG must be 14 hrs, and CDG LHW must take an hour or so, I don’t think you’d be crazy to take the route

I’d probably choose the 747, but only because those are disappearing from passenger service faster.
